GOP Debate Number Six

The first GOP debate for 2016 is over.  We have now been subjected to six shows.  The field has narrowed to a total of 10 contenders, but only 7 were presented during the prime time circus.  I have heard many self-proclaimed experts say the race is reduced to 3: Donald J. Trump, Ted Cruz, and Marco Rubio.  I do not agree.  Although Donald Trump leads the pack, deliberative Junior Senators showed signs of untested immaturity.  Ted Cruz dropped credibility with the New York City liberal worldview knock on Donald Trump and Marco Rubio appeared childish when he attacked Chris Christy regarding his veiled support of Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor.  In my opinion, New Jersey Governor, Chris Christy elevated his chances of reaching the top 3.  And do not count out Former Hewlett-Packard CEO, Carly Fiorina.  The mistake most make, they underestimate her talents, conviction, and her ability to communicate effectively.

By the time I write my impressions regarding debate number seven, the Iowa Caucus will have happened.  Any opinion I form today and then may be overcome by events.  Regardless, I do believe it is time for the field to be winnowed.  I am confident Former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum and Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee would make great presidents.  However, they no longer have adequate support from the American people to remain serious candidates.  The establishment candidates, Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush, Ohio Governor John Kasich, and Florida Senator Marco Rubio have the favor of big money Republicans who behave like they believe they own the Republican Party, but those of us who basically survive on our incomes are not impressed.  At our neighborhood debate parties, we can anticipate everything Jeb and John are going to say before they say it.  They hype their respective experiences in government.  They have nothing new to offer.  And, Junior Florida Senator, Marco Rubio maybe a pretty face, but his voting record and soft attitude regarding illegal immigration is hard to forget.  I still think Dr. Ben Carson’s calm demeanor is better suited for the presidential office; however, because Mr. Trump had his best debate performance to date, I believe he will be our next president.

I know all of the presidential hopefuls believe they can do a better job than the front-runner and probable Republican nominee.  But they all must agree Mr. Trump would be 100% better than any of the Democrat offerings.  Queen Jezebel, Hillary Rodham Clinton (HRC) is an unethical empty skirt, parroting her husband’s voice.  Bernie Sanders (BS) is a devout anti-free enterprise socialist/communist.  Nobody knows why Martin O’Malley shows up.  I imagine he hopes HRC will be indicted, and BS will strangle himself on his oxygen feed.  Once they have cancelled each other out, he’ll be available to pick up the pieces.  Regardless, the Republican Party must present proven leadership, which will become a strong force for good in preserving and protecting our Constitutional Republic.  Should Donald J. Trump become the nominee, he must attend the Centennial Institute’s 2016 Western Conservative Summit (WCS) and make a strong case to the delegates why he is the right choice for America.

Thanks for reading.  If our LORD permits, let the restoration of our Constitutional Republic begin for the advancement of the Kingdom of God.
