Why We Must Follow Our Founding Documents (An Opinion)

Has Another Great Awakening Begun in America?
Who would have ever seen this coming? A young man who has dedicated himself

I am so glad the Constitution prohibits the Federal government from preventing an individual's free exercise of religion. However, the NFL prohibits Tim Tebow from wearing his eye black with his favorite Bible reference, John 3:16: "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." (NASB)
For those who do not believe the Creator of the Universe - and life on planet Earth - does not intervene in the affairs of mankind, I suggest giving this notion a second thought. The results of the NFL's, AFC Wild Card game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Denver Broncos on Sunday, January 8, 2012, included some eyebrow raising, "coincidental," facts, such as:
- Tim Tebow threw 10 passes for 316 yards (Source Bronco Statistics).
- The average yards per pass equal 31.6 (Source Bronco Statistics).
- TV Ratings reported the game received the highest ratings share of 31.6 (the most watched wild card game in 24 years).
- So not to leave out the Pittsburgh Steelers, their time of possession of the football, 31.6 minutes
(Source Bronco Statistics).

I believe God does not care about football, but Jesus gave His sinless life to reconcile sinners to our Creator. He cares most about our eternal souls. I believe God is using this young man in more ways than any of us can think or imagine. Why him, why now, who can say? The Lord has His own purposes. Is Tim Tebow an answer to prayer? Is God starting a great revival on the gridiron? I don't know. But this I can see and will testify to until I breathe my last, Jesus is doing a work through His willing and faithful servant. I think we should join with the Lord's work and ask Him for creative ways to lead people to Christ as He provides opportunity.
I will continue to pray for Tim that God continues to shine His light through him.

GOP Presidential Race - An Opinion
Back in August, my opinion of the candidates and order of preference was: 1. Herman Cain, 2. Rick Santorum, 3. Newt Gingrich, 4. Michele Backmann, 5. Rick Perry, 6. Mitt Romney, 7. Ron Paul, and 8. Jon Huntsman. Since then, we can scratch # 1 and # 4. Because the cult-leader, Ron Paul demonstrates anti-Semitic and anti-Israel tendencies, I cannot support him no matter how correct he might be on Constitutional issues. I don't want to be hung on a meat hook and I'm afraid I might end up stuck on one if Ron Paul became the next dictator, so I pray he does not ascend further in this campaign. Worse, Representative Paul doesn't seem to recognize the Islamic, Communist, Fascist, and organized criminal threats that want to remove America from the world. I think he would wait until an American city smoldered and radiated before he would recognize the problem. Even though Jon Huntsman seems like a capable leader, I'm afraid he's too chummy with China. I think he forgets they want to do us harm. So, it seems all we have left to vet are the current progressive front-runner, Mitt Romney, second place, Rick Santorum, third, Newt Gingrich and last, Rick Perry.
As a Creator-respecting, Liberty-loving, Constitutional Conservative, I am looking for the candidate who will fight for the Constitution. The current usurper-in-chief seems to enjoy shredding it. It appears to me he has lit the afterburners in a full-scale assault to strafe our Constitutional Republic and subject America to the United Nations.
We have a unique gift from God - a right and responsibility to vote for our government representatives at all levels. Regardless of what the corrupted-culture preaches, we have a religious basis for our nation's foundation. This basis is comprised of four pillars build upon one bedrock truth - there is a Creator. The first principle pillar is our Creator grants us inalienable rights - not government. To avoid tyrannical control, our Creator gave us the second pillar, His moral law to assist us govern ourselves. The age-old question we face - can man govern himself? It is my opinion the answer is yes, qualified by this tenant - only by God's divine guidance. Our founders tightly coupled the third and fourth pillars. A legitimate government exists to protect the rights our Creator bestowed, and inherently-evil government gains its legitimacy by the consent of the governed -
- Leadership - George Washington practiced bowing his knee before The Creator. The leader of the United States of America doesn't bow below Islam, Communist dictators, or royal tyrants, but he must serve and protect the American body politic.
- Justice - Not popular Social Justice, but Equal Justice under the Law, which protects from government's abuse of power. At the same time, it protects our opportunity to pursue happiness and doesn't attempt to guarantee happiness through redistribution of wealth by taxation (legalized theft).
- Morals - I'm looking for someone who demonstrates consistent moral character - not a, "Character," like the current occupier of the White House who consistently acts like a court jester for his puppet master - the father of lies.
- Family - Promoting a healthy, balanced marriage (one man & one woman) is the cornerstone, upon which America built the strongest, morally sound, and least corrupt society, in the history of mankind. If the family unit crumbles, which popular culture seeks, the nation falls thereafter. And finally,
- Life - If it is not protected at all phases, the dehumanization of any undesirable class (like the 1%), race (such as the Jews), or station (as the unborn, terminally ill, or elderly) will be subject to elimination by the iron fist of government.
I am looking for in a leader who promotes justice, demonstrates moral character, upholds the family and protects life. I want a candidate to declare it is time for us to bring our troops home. I am not an isolationist, because it is unrealistic. Yet I ask, do we have a clear mission to accomplish in the wars we are fighting? It seems our current liar-in-chief is intentionally weakening our nation while Iran seeks to destroy America, which calls our nation the great Satan. Can someone explain to me why we protect the border between North and South Korea, and the border between Pakistan and Afghanistan, yet we fail to protect our national boundaries?
In addition, I want a candidate who will put all entitlements on the table, including sacred Social Security. The Constitution does not require the Federal Government to be the great benevolent provider - it cannot no matter how much the government steals from American taxpayers. This is not a fairness issue; it is how much theft will, we the people, allow. Obama Senior wrote in his economic thesis he believed it would be okay for a government to tax its populace 100% of their earnings so long as the government provided services were commensurate with the taking. How are agencies such as the EPA, DOE, and DHS performing? If they worked for me (oh wait - they do), I would fire all of them for failing to meet their stated objectives. For example, President Carter sold us the DOE in 1973. Their stated mission: Free America from foreign oil dependency. Thirty-nine years later, are we more or less dependent? And the hater of prosperity-in-chief won't allow us to drill, extract, refine, or distribute our own resources. He rejected the opportunity to build a pipeline, which would have put thousands to work. We should ignore him and his environment-Nazi friends and build it anyway.
As we grow more dependent on government, we should recall that throughout history, every benevolent government eventually turns hostile on its own citizens, even if it is only a small segment of its population - a scapegoat for blaming society's ills. Americans have traded liberty for security. Now, we deserve neither. Apparently, the current administration (and its state-controlled media) considers anyone like me, my family members, friends and many associates, a public enemy because I refuse to break faith with the founding principles, which formed our nation's Constitution. I hope I have the courage to stand up like Patrick Henry and declare, "Give me liberty or give me death."
Finally, I long for a candidate who will tell this nation the truth. It needs to repent and turn to the Lord, begging Him to lead us in a revival of faith, freedom, and personal responsibility. As a historian, unless we entreat God's intervention, we are doomed to follow the path of all previous empires - all fall and become enslaved by the next conqueror in line - possibly Russia, likely China, but most probably the rioting, radical, saber rattling, Islamic nation. Regardless, liberty as we know it will cease to exist and a slaughter will ensue to make sure the sheep comply with the new masters.
Well, as of January 4, 2012, we are left with a six-ring, GOP circus. Who knows what we are going to be stuck with - certainly no one who will fit any of my unreasonable and unrealistic criteria. Since I doubt anyone will lead our body politic to humble ourselves before God, I pray for a revival at the individual level because unless we repent and turn to the Lord, America will be no more. Oh, the land will be here, and we will be subjects of something, but never again citizens of the land of the free and home of the brave. As I watch the continuing debates, I pray I will remember to keep these fundamental and foundational principles and values in mind. Guided by His Holy Spirit, maybe He will let me share His answer in my next post.

One Jewish Man's Look at Christmas
President Ulysses S. Grant declared Christmas a national holiday on June 26, 1870 to honor Christ's birthday. The celebratory nature of this holiday has changed over time, but from my observation, I am not sure many Americans follow this tenet, today. For example, why do so many people push and shove in stores promoting extended shopping hours, searching for a meaningless gift that is neither wanted nor needed to give a not too-distant relative? If our purpose is to honor the Lord of glory, why do we pursue stress-inducing activities robbing us of our peace and joy?
Is the opposite more accurate? Statistics indicate more people suffer from depression or heart failure, commit suicides, homicides, or crimes of passion, engage in self-destructive adulterous affairs, or cause fatal alcohol and/or drug influenced traffic accidents, than at any other single time of the year. Is this Christmas?
Why did Christians pick a day around the time pagans used to celebrate the winter solstice? Granted, no one knows the exact date Jesus arrived and scripture gives us sketchy information at best. Luke 3:23 tells us Jesus was about thirty years of age when He began his ministry. Church tradition holds to a calculated speculation that Jesus reached 33 years of age when He died on the cross. So, is there a better basis upon which to draw His birth assumption? Historically, rulers took a census at the beginning of a new year. All of Palestine at the time of Jesus' birth recognized the New Year at Rosh Hashanah, which always falls in the September/October time of year. The census forced Joseph and Mary to travel to Bethlehem so the evidence from scripture and history circumstantially point to an early fall birth for our Lord. Maybe Christmas should honor His birthday on a day closer to when the event more probably occurred.
By the way, what does the Lord Himself think about all this wrapping paper, ribbons, bows, trees, and lights? Does He have an opinion on all this? I think He does. In Matthew's Gospel, Chapter 15, verses one through fifteen, and in Mark's account, Chapter seven, verses one through thirteen, Jesus describes His attitude towards these traditions we annually practice. I see a parallel between what Jesus told the people then and what I am sure He would repeat today. We have invalidated the Word of God by our traditions.
Obviously, nothing I think, say, or write is going to change any of these things. People will continue to flock to shopping centers and/or purchase gifts on line. They will exchange these things with friends and family for whatever purpose or reason they hold dear. The practice still looks strange to us who have learned about God from a different point of view. The pursuit of the Yuletide tradition does nothing to present the baby born in Bethlehem as the Messiah of Israel, the One who will save us from our enemy.
Regardless, there is something special about Christmas this time of year. It is good to remember the angel's annunciation to the shepherds:
"And the angel said unto them, 'Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord. And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.' And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, 'Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.' " (Luke 2:10-14, KJV)
With that, I wish to offer a simple greeting: Happy Birthday Lord Jesus - whenever it is - and, Merry Christmas to all my friends and family. May you all have a God blessed New Year.

Political Detox
As a man, I find greater clarity when I can disconnect from all routines, head for the wilderness, and while surrounded by His creation, reconnect with God. During these times, I surrender to His sovereign will and purposes with gut honesty. The questions I asked on this trip, "Why am I failing to be effective? I can see the target's center. Why do I miss every attempt to communicate a straight shot? What is the root cause for the drift? Have I compromised?"
If I am willing to listen to His response, He answers. Like any good Rabbi, He replies to my questions with a question and He usually starts with, "Are you seeking My kingdom and righteousness first, or are you pursuing the things of this world?"
Busted.
Politics is without question a thing of this world: evil, wicked, immoral, corrupted and sinful, and because it is a thing - irredeemable. The compromise I pursued was a vain attempt to work within our fallen system. It has broken faith with our founding principles and Constitutional framework. Trying to appease a culture bent on self-corruption and self-destruction is for me, a believer a waste of my time, talent, and resources. God did not create me to fight a culture war but to elevate His holy kingdom, which is righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. I forgot, He is not interested in saving our secular theocracy, but the souls of men and women.
However, does this mean I disengage. No. If anything, I believe He wants me to stand; yet, I must know with certainty for what I stand. When I recite, "I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands . . ." do I know the difference between our Republic, other republics (like the USSR), and democracies (touted by the left and why)? If I do not know, I better find out and prepare to articulate the distinctions. I cannot emphasize this enough - comprehending and stating with clarity the dissimilarities is a matter of happiness versus misery, liberty opposed to bondage, life or death. Can I trust for one second the evil doers pursuing Jihad, pushing Sharia Law (in the name of Democracy), and infiltrating our government at all levels will allow me to live under out Constitutional protected liberties? Did I forget our constitutional republic and Islam cannot co-exist? Islam (along with its
After pressing these and several other, "Well reasoned," arguments while walking through the woods, the Lord brought me back to His concern with my attitude and behavior. Do I pursue His holiness?
When I need a means of comparison, I do not look to the lifestyles of the rich and famous, but to the responsible and self-reliant founding citizens. With but a few exceptions (always exploited by the liberal-progressive left), these independent souls lived morally blameless lives, pursuing holiness (I recommend, "The Pursuit of Holiness," by Jerry Bridges). From the colonists, I see a consistent thread, regardless of the State they resided in, or region of the country. The people of the original thirteen colonies created and ratified State Constitutions expressing there purpose for existence. They saw the need to provide an environment, which would allow a godly lifestyle to flourish. Not all required their citizens to pursue a life pleasing to God but all wanted this inalienable right protected for themselves and their posterity (which includes us today, and hopefully future generations). As they pursued lives of piety (worshipping the Creator and King of the Universe while serving each other with loving-kindness), they confronted the storms of life with confidence God would guide them through. Recognizing the basis for their strength (Biblical principles), to achieve happiness I must pursue holiness. What liberty I would enjoy if free from the domination of sin and proved morally blameless like so many of our founders. If I pursue holiness, I have reason to believe it will yield happiness, regardless of my station in life, rich or poor, sick or well. I can see why the European elitist, Karl Marx, considered religion the opium of the people (parroted by the left). I prefer exercising my God given right to pursue living under His liberating holiness, which leads to true happiness connected to my Maker.
So long after Mr. Marx began his eternal, hot and spicy confinement, we now see that the real drug, which keeps the populace anesthetized, a true poison, stronger and more addictive than heroin, is government entitlements. When the drug wears off and people cannot get a fresh fix, watch out.
The citizens of the United States have allowed government agencies to spring up like weeds, which propagate unchecked choking out an individual's ability to grow. We accepted the lie that government experts know best. We substituted personal responsibility for government subsidy, we are addicted, and too many Americans love it so. Somehow, we need to all join, "Entitlements Anonymous," and have the courage to stand up and admit, "Hi, I'm Charles and I have received Government handouts." As I see it, the only way out is detoxification. I must reject Government assistance, embrace personal responsibility, and stand up declaring, "In God is my trust."
After receiving clarity of purpose, I walked out of the forest, back into the cesspool of politics, and found another article that makes a good case for supporting the Constitution of the United States and Limited Government. It seems my Christian and Jewish brethren, who acknowledge God as their Creator and granter of liberty, recognize the importance of limiting the necessary evil power of government because fallen, sinful, and corruptible (yet redeemable) people run the administrative agencies harassing our lives. I recognize the need for government but I do not think we need to make lifetime careers out of government short-term, shovel-ready construction projects. For those people who feel government is the answer to all human woes, do you honestly believe the myriad of costly to operate, inefficient Government agencies with their thuggish, non-essential, public-sector unionized bureaucrats who receive pay and benefits at taxpayer expense never make mistakes or squander a single tax dollar? Isn't it time that they grew up, became responsible, productive members of this great experiment in liberty, and resist the temptation to embrace the lie that all our problems can be fixed if we force the rich to pay their fair share, which they already do and more? (Warren Buffet, if you want your elite, country-club friends to pay more taxes, lead by example and right a check) Maybe if they used their creativity to earn wealth instead of finding cleaver ways to condemn capitalism and use Government force to take other peoples' money, they might have a greater appreciation for God's wondrous gift of liberty.

Iowa Staw-Poll Results (An Opinion)
As a Constitutional Conservative, I am looking for the candidate who will fight for the Constitution. Bush 43 paid it lip service calling it a, "G-D piece of paper." The current usurper-in-chief seems to enjoy shredding it. It appears to me he has touched off the afterburners in a full-scale assault to strafe our Constitutional Republic and subject America to the United Nations.
However, I want one of these candidates to stand up and say it is time for us to bring our troops home. I am not an isolationist, because it is unrealistic. Oh, the land will be here, and we will be residents of something, but never again the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Iowa Debate Results (An Opinion)
I think Herman Cain advanced his status and I still like the idea of having a President who is not a whitewashed sepulcher like the Pharisees of Washington, DC.
The next fighter who scored punch points with me for truth, justice, and traditional American values fell to Rick Santorum. Unfortunately while fighting for the sanctity of human life and the correct definition of marriage, he complained too much about the amount of time he had before the audience.
The rest failed to impress me whatsoever and it is time for Tim Pawlenty to give up his place in the race.
So, I ranked my scorecard as follows:
1. Newt Gingrich, 2. Herman Cain, 3. Rick Santorum, 4. Michele Bachman, 5. Mitt Romney, 6. Ron Paul, 7. Jon Huntsman, and 8. Tim Pawlenty.
That is my opinion. Saturday, we will find out what the people of Iowa think.

Western Conservative Summit - 2011 (An Observation)
In this post, I will address my observation of the declared and undeclared Republican Presidential hopefuls: Texas Governor Rick Perry (undeclared); Former US Senator from Pennsylvania, Rick Santorum (declared); Former UN Ambassador, John Bolton (undeclared); and Businessman, Herman Cain (declared). They all gave respectable speeches, but one inspired. They all said the right conservative words, but one set the right tone and tempo. They all expressed good ideas for putting America back on the right track to be that exceptional shining city upon a hill, but one showed us his executable plan. They are all good men, but one stood out above the rest.
I applied to CCU to be part of their volunteer corps to ensure the operational success of the Summit. CCU selected me to participate on the team that would monitor their respective book signing times. Moving people to and from these candidates for an hour or so placed me in the unique, close-proximity to observe how these four, mere men, interacted with people. I list them here in an order from the least to the most personable (in my opinion).
- Texas Governor, Rick Perry,
- Former UN Ambassador, John Bolton,
- Former US Senator from Pennsylvania, Rick Santorum, and
- Businessman, Herman Cain.
Governor Perry sat behind a table several feet away from the nearest admirer. He never once lifted off his chair until it was time to leave. Ambassador Bolton sat behind his table throughout his book signing, but allowed people to come up to it and he provided a chair next to him so fans could sit comfortably during a quick photo-shoot. Senator Santorum stood to his feet for every photograph; he allowed ample human contact ranging from simple handshakes to warm, yet appropriate (for a conservative crowd) embraces.
Herman Cain signed books, programs, bumper stickers, pamphlets, hats, and T-Shirts and he sat, stood, hugged, and shook hands. For me, the moment-of-truth arrived when his chief-of-staff leaned in to whisper in his ear that he won the straw poll by a whopping margin. I know this because I stood right across from his left side at this historical moment. Mr. Cain simply smiled, addressed his next visitor, and signed another book.
By the way, the one Presidential Candidate who gave an inspirational speech, set the right tone and tempo, presented and executable plan (handed out copies), and stood out above the rest, is Mr. Herman Cain.
Folks, it is time to raise Cain!

Immigration Debate
In general, we found the event educational. I admit, we went with our preconceived notions about the issue; however, we wanted to give the other side an opportunity to present their ideas - wh we should no longer deem illegal immigrants, "Illegal."
In summary, the proponent of, "Relaxed Immigration Policies," failed to present a convincing argument. In my opinion, I view our country as I view my home. In deference to the self-proclaimed intellects, I realize this is a simplistic analogy, but obviously, I think it can be sustained.
The people who live in my house, or have free access to it, have a right and/or privilege to do so because: 1) Mary and I own the house (with the mortgage company), and 2) those that have access are either family members or close, proven and trustworthy friends - their allegiance to our household is never in question.
The folks who know me best, know that I hold fast to a well-defined, Biblical Worldview. Again, in my opinion, the debaters, regardless of their position, missed a fundamental, self-evident truth. Anyone who comes into my house uninvited, or does not have the owner's granted privilege, has entered illegally. Consequently, I have the God given right, and God demanded duty, to protect my wife, children, and friends against the invader. I am permitted by the State of Colorado to use deadly force, if necessary. Regarding the intruder, I do not care if he broke in to look for work, to clean my windows, shampoo my carpets, or bathe my dog. He failed to enter through the correct door, me or my wife, and I nor my wife have granted the privilege to sit on our couch, eat our food, or kidnap our children. Similarly, the illegal alien does not have a Government conferred right to American jobs, services, or welfare, while stealing US property, consuming US resources, or murdering US citizens.
I have asked myself and contemplated from where does the self-evident right of securing private property, or national boarders come? Yeshua, the Messiah, reveals an answer. I recommend an examination of the Gospel of John, Chapter 10. Notice His use of possessive ownership language. He declares Himself to be, "The Door." He labels all who do not come through Him as thieves and robbers. On the day we stand before Him, we will not be allowed to enter His Kingdom unless He has given us His Holy Seal, which proves our Heavenly citizenship.
To obtain His legal citizenship, He asks all people to follow a few simple entrance rules. All will reach His eternal border crossing. Illegal aliens will not be allowed entry, they will not be granted citizenship; even if all they want to do, are jobs His saints do not want to do.

October 4, 2009 – Bible Study – Psalm 55:1-23
It is a fearful thing for us, who understand righteousness and desire to live upright lives, to see wickedness abound (vs 4), and to see our leaders - elected leaders - act wickedly (vs 3). Where is the justice for the citizen taxpayer? Are we reduced to nothing but subjects to BHO and his cronies? Why did he and his wife, and their friends have to fly to Denmark to make another speech, and why did they have to take separate planes (some sacrifice) - all at the expense of American citizens? Who would have benefited if they had won the Olympic prize? The questions are endless because wickedness knows no bounds.
What does God reveal about Himself?
Yet, God sees, He hears, and He knows the judgment He plans for the wicked. BHO has violated his covenant (vs 20) - to protect and defend the Constitution, which he considers to be fundamentally flawed. God will let BHO and his house (including his Czar friends) go down alive to Sheol, for evil is in his dwelling, and in his midst (vs 15).
What insights can I apply to my life?
As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord (Joshua 24:15). Our God is our refuge (vs 8). Even when He brings terrible calamity upon our nation for its many grievous sins, I know I can trust Him (vs 23).
How can I honor God with this passage?
I choose to repent of my sins - open and secret - for only when I humble myself under the mighty hand of God can He raise me up to be the man He intends - a light unto the Gentiles and a hope to His people - Israel.

Detailed answers can be found at this Web Site http://hearus-now.org/. Specifically, Tea Party Organizers decided to move from the Capital Building to the public park in Arvada because a Veterans Organization is planning a picnic in the mall area between the Colorado State House and the City & County Buildings. Tea Party Organizers determined that we did not want to interfere with the Veterans and their family members.
What is our objective?
2,500 participants in a peaceful pot luck picnic/demonstration in the park,
We expect Public Servants to listen (we know Politicians will not), and
Send clear messages, such as:
Ø “Stop the Spending,” and
Ø “We are Taxed Enough Already.”
How can I help?
Please show up(Numbers Matter – over 1,230 cities will participate)
Encourage others to do likewise,
The organizers have established a facebook site, which is linked at the http://hearus-now.org/ to help people RSVP,
If you are able, please bring items such as:
Hot dogs, buns and/or water,
Condiments, chips, and/or a side dish
If you are not able to bring any food items, don’t worry about it and don’t let that stop you from attending.
The Park prohibits alcoholic beverages. Please do not bring any alcoholic beverages.
Visit the Tea Party (http://www.teapartyday.com/) Web Site for more information, and
Read the Declaration of Independence and reconnect with this day’s importance.
If you intend to bring a sign, please keep your message simple like, “Stop the Spending,” or, those used by our founders such as, “The Power to Tax Is the Power to Destroy.” Here are a few reasons for this recommendation:
The media would like to silence our voice. If we have signs that are off point, such as, “Fire the Speaker of the House,” although we might agree with this, it is something the media would use to demonize the demonstration, or at least marginalize our message.
We should strive to remove the ability to criticize our purpose, or use our demonstration to inflame the passions of those who do not yet understand our grave-concerns, and to exploit our, “Grassroots,” movement as the last-gasp of those who hold to traditional values.
It is possible (however unlikely), Politicians might understand a statement written at the First Grade Reading Level.
Another idea for Tea Party Signs: Five-gallon wooden paint stirring sticks are available at most paint stores. They make great, lightweight, poster holders.
If you want to contact me for more information, you can reach me at cpatricoff@comcast.net, or at Twitter, Facebook, or at America’s Godly Heritage (http://americasgodlyheritage.blogspot.com/).
Remember this IS your event. This IS YOUR Tea Party, YOUR celebration. It is going to take all of us to make it a success.
This our time to come together, celebrate our nations founding. It’s a time to get together, meet each other, discuss the issues concerning us and begin to work together to find solutions.

July 4th Tea Party Update
The July 4, 2009 Tea Party is moving from the Capital Building to a public park in Arvada. The information is included in the URL below. A Veterans Organization is planning a picnic in the park between the Colorado State House and the City & County Buildings. Tea Party Organizers determined that we did not want to have a conflict with the Veterans and their family members.
The format is also changed from a one hour event to an all afternoon into the evening Independence Day celebration (bring your own picnic basket).

Another idea for Tea Party Signs: Five gallon wooden paint stirring sticks available for free from any paint store, make great, light-weight, poster holders.
I don't know where I will camp at the park, but I will have a sign that says, "The Constitution Matters."

Charles

Dictator's First Week
1. He’s lifted the international ban on taxpayer funded abortions and opened the door on the wholesale murder of the unborn. In case you didn’t notice, the United States taxpayer must pay for these killings. He has the blood of innocent lives on his head and everyone who voted for him is culpable with the blood of children on their hands.
2. He’s closed the door on the GITMO prison for international terrorists, and his minions are happy to let them live on American soil to spread the death cult of Islam among hardened criminals. The Pentagon reports that at least 60 – possibly more – of the detainees released from Guantanamo have rejoined terrorist cells and have fought once again against Americans. When are we going to get tired of fighting those we’ve released?
3. The White House web site lays out all the other ungodly practices he intends to impose upon us, many of them should cause grave concern to a free people.
I see severe trouble on the horizon. Do you remember the old saying, “Red sky in the morning, sailors take warning”? What are some of the warning signs of imminent danger? Watch for an increase in civil unrest. I suspect that he will turn a “blind eye” and a “deaf ear” to complaints of mistreatment or even acts of violence (including murder) against conservatives. He will silence all criticism using a sweeping “Hate Speech” rule and he will remove the free exchange of ideas from all forms of media, education, and public debate. He will want to disarm the population under the guise of improved safety, and he will treat terror attacks as if they were criminal acts worthy of due process regardless of the citizen body count. When he begins to blame a particular group of people (such as: Jews, Christians, or White Conservatives) for all the disorder and his failure to accomplish his agenda, anyone who raises an objection to his policies will receive his wrath. I wonder if the construction of “work camps” is buried in his massive spending plans.
Many people have asked me about our Christian responsibility to pray for him. I recommend I Corinthians 5:5 for your consideration. If he is a Christian as he claims, then we must pray that he comes to a place of deep and true repentance. If he is not, then we must pray that he surrenders his life to Jesus Christ and bows his knee in submission to the Supreme Judge of the Universe. Do I want him to succeed – only if he practices righteousness? So long as he practices wickedness, I pray that God will have mercy on his eternal soul.

First American Seder
Yesterday, I had the privilege to attend and participate in what was accurately called, “The American Seder,” a celebration of remembering pivotal stories that led to the signing of America’s Declaration of Independence. The “Seder” script was written by Chuck Grifasi and presented by Colorado Pragar Fans.
The program highlighted America’s first stand for the concept of Freedom of the Press and re-enacted the famous Peter Zenger publishing case in 1735. Mr. Zenger was defended by sixty-year old Andrew Hamilton. His eloquent defense was concluded with the notion that the press has “a liberty both of exposing and opposing tyrannical power by speaking and writing truth.” The colonial jury ignored the immoral English law that demanded they find Mr. Zenger guilty of libel and established for American law that truth is a defense to an accusation of libel. I find it frightening that America’s mainstream media has succumbed to Islam’s threats to sue anyone who prints truth that offends Islam. Our once proud “Free Press” has reverted back nearly 300 years and now submits under the boot heel of Islamic tyranny. A current case in Canada is attempting to silence author Mark Steyn for exposing certain truths about Islam in his America Alone book.
Another key story came from a dinner scene in the home of Mercy Otis Warren, who wrote the History of the Rise, Progress, and Termination of the American Revolution. In her collection of human interest stories she recalls personal letters from friends like Martha Washington and Abigail Adams. She also documented heroic wartime exploits of little known Americans such as Private Joseph Plumb Martin.
The hundred plus participants sang, “God Bless America,” listened to Johnny Cash’s, “Ragged Old Flag,” recited the “Pledge of Allegiance,” acknowledged active duty and military veterans, watched a video called, “They Also Serve,” and were treated to a special recorded messaged from Dennis Prager.
The “Seder” ended with a reminder to read the Declaration of Independence this Fourth of July. Each participant was given a prepared copy and Chuck Grifasi appealed to us to consider signing it on July 4th 2008 as a recommitment to the moral truth encapsulated in this American Foundational Document.
I simply add that if we don’t remember and commit ourselves again and again, year after year, we will lose the liberty we hold dear.

Candidate Called Israel An Infection
Barack Hussein Obama recently said that Israel is a wound and a sore, an infection on America’s foreign policy. In an earlier post (February 26, 2008), I reminded my readers to understand our responsibility before God to know people by their fruits. In my opinion, Barack Hussein Obama continues to show Anti-Christ tendencies. After visiting Israel, I am convinced that a true Christian could never call Israel an infection. As a Jew and child of Israel, I dislike being referred to as a disease.
Some may think I am overreacting, I am too sensitive, and I need to have thicker skin. I dare anyone to spend as much time as I do in the wild of the Rocky Mountains and not become toughened in every way: physical, emotional, mental, and above all spiritual. Barack Hussein Obama associates with people, who hate Israel, hate Jews, and hate the historical/Biblical foundation that established America. Why do the so many people assume that his associates do not influence the way he thinks. If I believed in reincarnation, I would swear Adolph Hitler has come back as Barack Hussein Obama, a Muslim. Did not Hitler refer to the Jews as vermin? I pray that the Biblical passages of Genesis 12:3 and 27:29 become a reality for him since he cursed God’s chosen people.
I call for men to rise up to Pray for Peace but Prepare for War. I am a known American Civil War Historian, an expert on the issues that started that bloody conflict. The country failed to resolve the key issues other than slavery. Do we want a Federal dictatorship of liberal, secular progressives, or are we willing to fight for limited government and personal responsibility? If the masquerading Obama becomes President, free speech and the personal right to bear arms, will disappear. But first, watch for Muslims to become emboldened and demand that we adopt their ways, just as they have done throughout Europe.

Holy Fire
Since April 2, 2008, God has ignited a holy fire in me that I haven’t experience since 1971.
This exploded with our trip to Israel. Mary and I joined with Joel Rosenberg’s Joshua Fund Humanitarian Relief Organization. Everyone told me it would be a, “Life Changing” experience. This is a gross understatement. The Epicenter Tour and Conference not only changed my life, but it has convinced me that Jesus is about to do something that will shake the entire world.
Many of the tour group from Colorado met again on May 9th. Comparing notes, it became obvious that God had touched each participant, even the most reluctant in the group.
Yesterday, I came home from the annual Colorado Christian Writers’ Conference. During the conference, I witnessed God, through His Holy Spirit, bring Christians to deep repentance. I haven’t seen a move like this in over 35 years. During a time of prayer, God’s powerful presence sent me to my knees. I became aware that other conferees were on their knees or prostrated before Him – receiving God’s cleansing, encouragement and strength. Talking with many after the conference, there was a vast consensus that God is pouring out His Spirit once again in these most probable Last Days.
It is my humble opinion; a person would have to be deaf, dumb, blind and stupid to reject the fact that God is moving to accomplish His purposes.
This coming weekend, our men’s America’s Godly Heritage fellowship will meet to discuss the faith of our Nation’s Founding Father’s and the United States Constitution. I hope to encourage these men to become the Democrat Party’s worst nightmare, men who understand the evil of large, unobstructed Government.

Israel 2008 (Pray for Peace - Prepare for War)

Since this was our first adventure to Israel, we can only compare our experience to those reported to us by others. From what I can tell, other tours are packed with as many Holy Land sites as time will permit. In contrast, we were brought to specific locations and given time to absorb each site’s significance: culturally, historically, and biblically. Our tour seemed to have purpose and intentionality, in a word, “calling!”
From a historian’s point of view, we walked from pre-Abraham times, through Israel’s Kingdom period, the time of Yeshua, the destruction of the temple and scattering of the Jewish people, recognized the return of the Jewish state and celebrated Israel’s 60th rebirth as a nation.
On April 19th, we conducted our annual Passover Seder. Having seen with my eyes His restoration of the Holy Land, the section from Psalm 87 (quoted in full below) spoken during the Seder became, for me, yet another sure prophetic word fulfilled. Many of Israel’s seven million citizens have been “born in her.”
The tour culminated at the Epicenter 2008 Conference on April 10, 2008. Biblical prophecies were placed in contemporary context. I recommend that my readers perform a careful examination of Ezekiel chapters 38 and 39, and Matthew 24. Finally, I urge everyone to go to the linked web site and listen to the conference audio presentations.
Based on everything we witnessed, learned, and experienced, the Holy Spirit has impressed us with urgency. My prayer is that we would be like the sons of Issachar, men who understood the times, with knowledge of what Israel should do (1 Chronicles 12:32, NASB). It is our time to recognize the times in which we live. We must know how we should conduct ourselves and how we should prepare for what is coming. The conference slogan, “Pray for Peace – Prepare for War,” is apropos.
PSLAM 87
His foundation is in the holy mountains. The LORD loves the gates of Zion More than all the other dwelling places of Jacob. Glorious things are spoken of you, O city of God. “I shall mention Rahab and Babylon among those who know Me; Behold, Philistia and Tyre with Ethiopia: ‘This one was born there.’” But of Zion it shall be said, “This one and that one were born in her”; And the Most High Himself will establish her. The LORD will count when He registers the peoples, “This one was born there.” Then those who sing as well as those who play the flutes shall say, “All my springs of joy are in you.”

I ask each reader to go the Joshua Fund web site and pledge your support for Israel. Please join with us as we pray for the Peace of Jerusalem.
Shalom,

II Thessalonians 2:8-12 Comparison
Barack Hussein Obama’s acceptance of the messiah role concerns me. I often remember how the people of Germany embraced, admired, and yes loved, another man who spoke like a messiah and called for change in his day to his world. His name was Adolph Hitler. He spoke, the people listened. He promised to restore Germany to its rightful place in the world, the people cheered. He blamed a particular people for the economic woes the citizens suffered, and the people agreed. He demanded action, and the people carried out his bidding. Soon thereafter, ashes fell from oven chimneys.
Barack Hussein Obama’s personal pastor, Jeremiah Wright, is a close personal friend to Louis Farrakhan, the outspoken leader of the Nation of Islam movement here in the USA. Barack Hussein Obama has never stated his position regarding our future relationship with the nation of Israel; he has never denounced Islam’s hatred for the Jewish nation or the Jewish people. And, as far as I know, he has never embraced historical Biblical Christianity, which would prevent him from supporting the American version of the holocaust, “On-Demand Abortions,” which he votes for and supports whole heartily.
I am making a prediction, should Barack Hussein Obama become our next President, America will have the leader she deserves. He will break relations with Israel, he will assault our personal freedoms guaranteed by the Unites States Constitution. I suspect he will start with the second amendment’s right to bear arms. He will attack freedom of speech and find away to shut down conservative talk radio, and blog sites like this. Changing America, he will break faith with the system of limited government our founding fathers created. He will change the USA to a pure democracy, something the founding fathers of this nation specifically rejected, and I suspect he will abolish the twenty-second amendment limiting Presidential terms. In other words, he will become the first American dictator. He likes being the messiah – so does the Anti-Christ!

Challenging Roe
It seems that God is leading me to be another voice for the unborn. I believe those of us to call ourselves “Christians” have a duty to protect the right to life of those who cannot defend themselves, including the baby living inside his or her mother’s womb.

Last Night's Republican Debate
Both have governed, both have held executive positions, both are outside of Washington. Our existing government has become irrelevant, to the point that it may be time to consider a second civil war to let the liberals and secular progressives have their own separate country to destroy without taking conservative traditionalists down with them. However, Romney and Huckabee represented hope for the future. They spoke uncompromisingly about the good of and in America. John McCain compromises everything. For America to remain its sovereignty, we cannot compromise the values that made us strong, and McCain appears too willing to make a deal. The only deal I want to see made now is the formation of a Romney/Huckabee ticket.

KPOF Radio Interview Feedback
.jpg)
Read what others are saying about the Destination Hope Series. Any doctrine, whether religious, legal, educational, economic, etc., that cannot be challenged is not worth following. It is time to challenge the legal doctrine established by Roe v. Wade. If it sustains the challenge, okay. If it cannot sustain it, then it is time to let the unborn live.
I am prepared to address the real issues confronting this election year - Did God create all men equal? If we don't get the answer to this right, no other issue matters.

Has God Abandoned America?
This is very sobering, and descriptive of our nation’s condition. Our country and future generations are in deep trouble.
I recently returned from Washington, DC. The meeting was filled with government officials. They argued, debated, and articulated lofty plans. No decisions were made, thousands of taxpayer dollars wasted, and no one seemed to care. Washington has become more and more irrelevant. We pay our representatives large salaries and they do nothing. Have our Congressional leaders been abandoned and given over to a depraved mind?
President Bush seems bent on turning his back on Israel by trading land for peace including dividing Jerusalem. Nothing could be more misguided. He opposes the revealed word and will of our Creator, and places Israel’s and American’s safety in jeopardy. Apparently, he has lost the ability to discern the difference between right and wrong.
Further, not a single Presidential candidate has broached this issue. Maybe they think this is something the President can do under his foreign affairs authority and they should not raise an objection. Do they not realize that whoever becomes our next President will have to deal with the consequences of President Bush’s foolish appeasement of our Islamic enemies?
Next Tuesday will be the 35th Anniversary of the Roe v. Wade decision. Since then approximately 50 Million American citizens have been murdered in their mother’s wombs. Immorality runs rampant, homosexuality encouraged and moral clarity seems lost for all time. I will be discussing these matters on Tuesday with the KPOF AM 910 “Breakfast Table Show” from 7 – 8 AM MST.
I think the answer to the question is, yes, God has abandoned America. Unless we repent, cry out to God for his forgiveness (which He would grant), turn from our wicked ways, and obey His ways, America is doomed to self destruction. The second question, is it too late? Who will save us from the inevitable calamity to come?
