It’s
time to fight against the left’s counterattack, which the rude, crude, and in
deep denial Hillary Clinton refers to as the, “Resistance.” I prefer to call it
a rebellion against God’s anointed authority (Romans 13:1-10). For new readers
of this blog, I attempt to analyze events from a Biblical Worldview. Since my
last post, President Donald J. Trump has fired former FBI Director,
James Comey for cause, President Trump has completed his first foreign mission,
the shadow government promotes sedition supported by the worthless, lame-stream
media (including the left-leaning FOX NEWS), the president withdrew the United
States from the Paris climate accord, and the world witnessed many more tragic cowardice
attacks.

So,
what has all of this have to do with strategic and tactical prayer on behalf of
our nation? I believe we have to answer this question with another question. Is
the King of the Universe, Jesus, raising an army of committed prayer warriors?
Marlene Bagnull, Director of the GreaterPhiladelphia and Colorado Christian Writers’ Conferences believes
He has. For both conferences, the stated objective is, “God is raising up an
army of Christians to ‘Write His Answer’ to the critical needs facing
our nation and the world.” I believe this is true. Christian writers need to be
prayer warriors. I think it also applies to followers of Jesus He has called to
this fight between good and evil. If this is so, does our LORD, Jesus, have a
revealed strategy for us to implement? I also believe scripture shouts a resounding,
“Yes.”
As
I wrote in my last post, not every believer is called to pray strategically and
tactically, just like not every citizen or subject serves in the military, and
not every member of the service, engages in battle. But sooner or later,
followers of Jesus will face a real fight. Being well-trained and armed makes
us ready to engage when called to battle. Above all, we need to receive clear
orders from our Commander of the Hosts. Why is clarity important? Imagine that
you are in a physical battle full of gunfire, smoke, screaming, and explosions.
Without clear directions, you could find yourself in trouble, fast. The
opposite of clarity is confusion, and the Bible teaches where there is
confusion there is every evil work. Clarity combats confusion.
Therefore,
for believers who are not familiar or comfortable with receiving direction from
God, tactically pray for clarity. For example, Father, I understand King Jesus’
overall objective and command to go and make disciples. Please provide me clear
direction how I might participate. Is there a loved one, a friend, neighbor, or
co-worker You want me to help? Grant me eyes to see and ears to hear what Your
Holy Spirit is saying, leading, and guiding. I confess, I do not know what to
do, but my eyes are on You, LORD, and I wait for You to give clear direction as
an answer to my prayer. In the powerful name of Jesus, thank You and amen.
Praying
strategically, I ask: Heavenly Father, I know the LORD is not slow about His
promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward everyone, not wishing
for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. I say, “Yes,” to Jesus, and
I will support, defend, and advance the Gospel of the Kingdom of God and the
call for all people to repent and come to salvation. I will bear true faith and
allegiance to the same. I take this obligation freely, without any mental
reservation or purpose of evasion; and I will well and faithfully discharge the
duties of Your high calling, obeying the leading of Your Holy Spirit, so help
me Father.
Praying
tactically, I ask: Heavenly Father, Jesus taught us to forgive 7 times 70. The
left continues to poke, prod, and provoke. They harass Your people, threaten us
with law suits, and use media, political, and economic pressure to silence us
who speak and write the truth that Jesus is the way, truth, and life, and no
one comes to the Father except through Him. LORD Jesus, You delegated authority
to your followers to use the keys of the kingdom. I bind (arrest and confine)
the hostile voices clamoring to destroy President Trump and all who support
him. Confuse, frustrate, and cancel the plans of unforgiving Democrats and
their anarchist axis of evil. Drain their energy, both physical and financial
in correspondence to their bankrupt spiritual condition. Expose them and fill
them with shame for they are wretched, miserable, poor, blind and naked. I release
(or loose) the Holy Spirit to convict them of sin, righteousness, and judgment
because they rebel against You, LORD, The Holy One. Set them free to come to
repentance and seek forgiveness from You. Obeying Your command, I choose to
forgive them for their sinful offenses and I ask for an anointing of Your grace
to help bring Your enemies I encounter to repentance.
And
Heavenly Father, I continue to ask that You expose, restrain and destroy the
works of the shadow government attempting to demolish President Trump and his
administration. Specifically, bind the activity of Satan manifesting through
the former occupier of the White House, and the mentally unstable HRC. Continue
to help President Trump select leaders of impeccable moral character and
courage. Please, bring to justice government employees that have violated the
law and leaked classified information to a colluding press. Please, LORD,
frustrate, confuse, and cancel the plans of Satan placed in the hearts and
minds of those who do not recognize and acknowledge Your governance.
Jesus,
You alone know the hearts and minds of those people who practice wickedness.
Please bring them to repentance and salvation. However, if anyone has crossed
the line and sealed their fate, I ask that You deliver them over to Satan for
the destruction of their flesh, so that their spirits might be saved.
Father,
I lift President, Donald J. Trump and his administration. Grant them Your divine
safety, expose any attempts to cause them harm, and I bind all thoughts, voices
and actions to assassinate the president. Extend to our new leaders Your
supernatural wisdom to confound those who think they are wise. Commit them to
uphold the Constitution, push back the wicked, progressive transformation
toward government dependence and godless socialism, and restore our Republic to
moral excellence, honorable character, and civil order.
Encourage
Your many followers of Jesus to walk through the door of opportunity You have
opened. Our enemy is angry and will never stop in attempts to gain control of
the entire world and remove God and His people from the Earth. But, he will not
succeed. Grant us boldness to preach and teach the Gospel of Jesus and make
disciples like never before in recorded history. This year, grant me the
privilege, opportunity, and joy to help someone embrace Your Holy and eternal
salvation. Begin a sweeping revival and another Great Awakening that will move
across America, expand to cover the earth, and prepare the bride of Christ for
His return. Release Your army to advance the Kingdom of God, push back the
forces of darkness, and bring uncountable souls to salvation before You bring
about the close of this age. Let us move forward into the battle secure in the
knowledge of Your unfailing love for Your children. The enemy will not be able
to stop the movement of Your almighty hand.
If
you agree with these prayers, please repeat them to the LORD. The Holy
Scriptures teach how can two walk together unless they be in agreement, and a
three-strand cord cannot be easily broken. Please, seek God regarding your part.
This day we fight with our King. Join the battle. Pray fervently for your loved
ones, friends, neighbors, co-workers, communities, towns, cities, states, and
